What I like about this bowl is its generous size. At approximately 650 mL, it feels quite substantial, and I particularly appreciate the contrast between its wide upper body and narrower foot. The proportions give an otherwise familiar shape a distinctive character.

Personally, I find the interior surface a little too rough for whisking matcha comfortably. Although the size is certainly generous enough, I would prefer a smoother interior for regular matcha preparation. Instead, I would happily use it as a larger pouring vessel for serving tea or transferring prepared drinks.

• Dishwasher safe. An additional rinse cycle may be necessary to remove detergent residue, as porous ceramic surfaces can retain detergent and absorb odours.
• For hand washing, use a soft sponge and mild detergent if needed. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any residue.
• A small piece of natural loofah sponge is particularly recommended for cleaning corners and fine details.
• Avoid abrasive cleaning tools and harsh detergents.
