White Clay Gongdao Cup

What I like about this Gongdao Cup is how its proportions give such a familiar tea vessel a distinctive character. The wide upper body and narrow, elevated foot make it feel a little more sculptural, while the simple white finish keeps everything understated.

At 230 mL, it's a very practical size for everyday tea serving. I particularly appreciate how the small pouring spout and subtle horizontal ridge bring just enough detail to an otherwise simple design.

• Dishwasher safe. An additional rinse cycle may be necessary to remove detergent residue, as porous ceramic surfaces can retain detergent and absorb odours.
• For hand washing, use a soft sponge and mild detergent if needed. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any residue.
• A small piece of natural loofah sponge is particularly recommended for cleaning corners and fine details.
• Avoid abrasive cleaning tools and harsh detergents.
