“Taiji” Glass Plate

Known among Chinese collectors as the “Taiji Plate,” its name comes from the flowing pattern created by bubbles suspended within the glass, which can resemble the form of a taijitu. As each plate is individually hand-blown, the bubble pattern and its resemblance to the symbol will vary from piece to piece.

Hand-wash gently with a soft sponge and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly. Avoid dishwashers, microwaves, ovens, abrasive cleaners, and sudden changes in temperature.

This piece is not confirmed as heat-resistant glass. Do not use it with very hot food or place it directly on a hot or cold surface. Handle carefully and avoid stacking it tightly against other glassware.
