This is a particularly attractive piece—and the first item my best friend chose when he visited our shop. At 290 ml, it feels slightly generous for a traditional gongdao, typically around 150–250 ml. Frank uses his for pour-over coffee, and it sits naturally in his strong hands. Its shape also makes it especially easy to pour toward yourself, so I find it well suited to self-serving fruit drinks or pour-over coffee. It could also work beautifully as a sauce-pouring vessel in Western kitchens.

Hand-washing is the safest option. A delicate, low-temperature dishwasher cycle may be used at your own risk, provided the piece is secured away from other tableware. In our experience, vibration and contact with other objects present the greatest risk of chipping.

This is non-heat-resistant glass. Avoid boiling liquids, sudden temperature changes, microwaves, ovens, and abrasive cleaners.
