Tulip White Porcelain Cup

Created by Japanese ceramic artist Nami Takahashi, this white porcelain cup is inspired by the softly rounded form of a tulip. It is slip-cast, then carefully refined and finished by hand.

Gentle petal-like contours rise around the body and meet a softly undulating rim, suggesting a flower beginning to open. Its white porcelain surface brings out the quiet changes of light and shadow, while the curved handle complements the organic shape.

A sculptural cup for everyday coffee or tea. Natural variations in form, dimensions, and finish are part of the handmade process.
