The porcelain is exceptionally thin and light. Its delicate handle may feel less secure in larger or very dry hands, but those who prefer a lighter, finer cup may especially enjoy its weight and shape.

Hand-washing is recommended. Although skilfully made from porcelain, the piece is very thin, and dishwasher contact may chip or crack its delicate details—not simply damage it through heat.
Do not use in a microwave, oven, or over direct heat.

Avoid abrasive cleaners and vigorous scrubbing, particularly around the textured band. Sudden changes in temperature may damage handmade porcelain, so allow the piece to adjust gradually before adding very hot or cold liquids.
