Lightweight, comfortable, and generously sized, this is a highly functional piece for everyday use. Nami Takahashi is an award-winning Japanese ceramic artist best known for her larger sculptural porcelain works, now represented in Japan’s National Crafts Museum. Her cups are less commonly encountered, but retain the organic ridges and shifting shadows characteristic of her work.

To protect the matte finish, avoid contact with metal utensils, as they may leave marks. A delicate dishwasher cycle should be safe, but gentle hand-washing with a soft sponge is still the best option. Avoid abrasive cleaners and sudden temperature changes.
