Oxidized Silver-Glaze Teapot

Compared with the white version, this teapot has a darker, more sculptural presence. Its oxidized silver surface resembles aged metal, with muted bronze tones that will naturally evolve over time.

Its relatively small scale and rounded shape may not make it an obvious centrepiece on its own. However, paired with thoughtfully chosen cups and a complementary tea tray, it can easily stand out within a table setting.

Its medium-weight walls and relaxed lid fit suit aromatic, everyday infusions, including English-style and Chinese black teas, roasted oolong, hojicha, bancha, genmaicha, wakoucha, sencha and white tea. Please contact us for natural-daylight photographs of the exact piece available.

Hand-wash only. Do not use in a dishwasher, microwave, oven, on a stovetop, or over direct heat.

Clean gently with warm water and a natural loofah sponge, which is soft and does not readily shed loose pieces. Avoid detergent on unglazed areas and never use metal polish on the silver finish. Remove the leaves after use and leave the lid open until completely dry.

Light tea staining and gradual changes in the silver surface are natural. Avoid prolonged soaking, abrasive cleaners, bleach, impacts, and sudden temperature changes.
