Oxidized Silver-Glaze Tea pot

Approx. 300 ml/10oz

Compared with the white version, this teapot has a darker, more sculptural presence. Its oxidized silver surface resembles aged metal, with muted bronze tones that will naturally evolve over time.

Its relatively small scale and rounded shape may not make it an obvious centrepiece on its own. However, paired with thoughtfully chosen cups and a complementary tea tray, it can easily stand out within a table setting.

Recommended Roasted Tea and Black Tea: Hojicha, Wakoucha, Roasted Oolong, Genmaicha; Its rounded glazed ceramic body suits everyday brewing, while the changing oxidized silver finish adds a distinctive character. Also suitable for other teas and herbal infusions.

Hand-wash only. Do not use in a dishwasher, microwave, oven, on a stovetop, or over direct heat.

Clean gently with warm water and a natural loofah sponge, which is soft and does not readily shed loose pieces. Avoid detergent on unglazed areas and never use metal polish on the silver finish. Remove the leaves after use and leave the lid open until completely dry.

Light tea staining and gradual changes in the silver surface are natural. Avoid prolonged soaking, abrasive cleaners, bleach, impacts, and sudden temperature changes.
